Since the CDC announced a new mandate that requires all travelers entering the U.S. to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test, numerous hotels scaled up efforts to provide on-site testing centers.

While abiding by local regulations, this move acts as a way to can ease traveler concerns about taking tests upon arrival and before departing to return home. It’s important to note though that not all are free of charge.

Anguilla

Belmond Cap Juluca is surrounded by white sandy beaches with posh pool villas, delicious dining and elevated experiences at sea. The PCR test will be administered prior to departure in coordination with the hotel. The cost of the on-site test is included in the original Anguilla entry fee. It’s necessary for guests to give 72-hour advance notice.

Curaçao

Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino announced their Clean Complete Verification program which includes a COVID-19 viral antigen testing on-property by Hospiten at no costs to guests. The test results will be received the same day from Medical Laboratory Services. Upon arrival, guests may consult with the concierge to set up appointments. The only condition is that guest must stay a minimum of 3 nights.

Grenada

Calabash Grenada upholds a philosophy of excellence. The family-owned boutique hotel consists of 30 spacious suites. Dining, adventures and wellness are at the center of perks while there as well as administered COVID-19 tests at no additional cost to guests, all within a luxurious and relaxed environment.

St Kitts

Park Hyatt St. Kitts is a luxury beachfront resort destination. There are gorgeous guest rooms, sophisticated suites, restaurants on-site, business/meeting facilities, pretty pools and sensual spas. Also, the hotel is offering guests to conveniently schedule PCR tests for their return travel. At present, travellers staying less than seven days in St. Kitts are required to take a PCR test 72 hours before departure. Meanwhile those staying longer than seven days can take advantage of this offering too.

St Maarten

Sonesta Resorts St Maarten is a luxury resort with exemplary bars, renovated restaurants, fitness centers and wellness treatments. The resorts offer on-property rapid antigen testing for guests given by a healthcare professional with results within 30 minutes. Then to offset the cost of COVID testing required for traveling to and from St Maarten, there is a $120 USD in resort credit with conditions.
