36. Notable Netherlands
It was one of favourite adventures in Europe. If you could call something perfect, it was my day in Amsterdam.
The Temple of Venus or the Sex Museum was rather amusing to see. Lots of laughter and observing involved.
The Stedelijk Museum had really amazing contemporary art and design items. Then my friend and I spotted a craftsman creating wooden shoes in the street. Soon enough, Heineken, canals and Vondelpark were calling.
And no trip would be complete without stops at the Amsterdam sign, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum.
Continuing into the city, we came across the Red Light District, colourful tulips and a live chess game.
The last spot for entertainment was a major square called Rembrandtplein. Dinner and dessert were bitterballen, herring and apfelstrudel. Eventually, it was time to go and we found Amsterdam Centraal Station.
