Washington attracts many to the western part of the United States. Apart from being home to two of the largest tech companies - Microsoft and Amazon, there are many tourist destinations in the city of Seattle.
Most notably would be the iconic Space Needle. This historic landmark is 605 feet tall with an observation deck that shows spacious surrounding mountains. There are also breathtaking views of Elliot Bay. Get hype for a panoramic experience with a revolving glass floor.
Next the Museum of Pop Culture displays how our world is evolving and being shaped today. There are a variety of mediums to discover. Also guests may explore epic exhibitions with themes including fantasy, games, horror and more. Then the online collection is well cool ranging from music to science. One may even end up with a fun trinket. If interested the next step, the museum allows donations and volunteering.
For local fine dining, Six Seven is an amazing seafood spot for lunch. With seasonal crafted cuisine and fresh organic ingredients, you are in for a treat. From clams, salmon, scallops to cod, lobster, and prawns, there’s something wonderful for everyone.
Then the Seattle Art Museum highlights pieces from the Northwest Coast, conscious constructions, pretty porcelains and items from Pacific species. There are numerous American stories told and a chance to learn about the history of the area.
When in Seattle, one can take in a big game. Depends on your sport of choice: Seattle Mariners (MLB), Sounders FC (MLS), Seattle Seahawks (NFL), Seattle Kraken (NHL), Reign FC (WNSL) and Seattle Storm (WNBA).
Lastly for dinner, Purple Cafe & Wine Bar is not to be missed. The food is delicious. And of course you can’t miss the 30 foot tower of wine in the middle of the restaurant. It’s a sight to see!
