Governor's Island

Take a ferry ride to 172 acres of history. Governor’s Island is a true New York landmark.

To get to the vibrant landscaped public open space, ferries depart and return from the Battery Maritime Building in Manhattan and Pier 6 in Brooklyn. Once there, numerous educational and commercial entities are present. Also, there is amazing art located around the island as well as cool galleries. Even large red hammocks are placed for visitors to chill and relax on while taking in the spring summer vibes. One can visit anytime from 01 May to 31 October.
