New Hampshire Hideaway

When looking for a New England experience, head to the charming and picturesque state of New Hampshire.

One destination for an outdoor excursions is Bretton Woods Ski Resort. Now that spring is coming, it’s best to get outside and explore all the activities available.

Start with breakfast at the Peaks Cafe. Afterwards, Bretton Woods offers gorgeous golf course. Nine holes in total to step up your game. A spectacular spa where you can retreat to be surrounded by the fresh air from the White National Forest. Then for those who like being on the water, fly fishing takes place on the Ammonoosuuc River.

Next elevate yourself above the Bretton Woods. This is for the thrill-seekers to take in views via tree-top zip lines or sign me up for a gondola ride in the sky. If you prefer being on the ground, there are terrific trails for biking, hiking and nature lovers. When ready for lunch, Switchback Grille and Slopeside Restaurant are great places.

For alternative accommodation moderately priced, one may consider Omni Mount Washington Resort or Omni Bretton Arms Inn.
